First up for me is "Dino News". This little guy and hopefully a few more are going to wing their way to Haiti later this month as a friend of mine is going on a mission trip and told met the kids would love them.
For the inside I stamped another dinosaur in this set.
Next up is the "Dragonflies" min set! I enjoyed working with this set so you are going to see them from me a lot this week!
This card almost ended up in the trash, it went through quite a process and ended up looking like this:
Working late at night I stamped and sponged a couple of versions of this. In the end I felt like I had too much greenery plus you can't see it in the photo below but my hand slipped while stamping the lower dragonfly giving him an unwanted shadow (not the good kind). I was too tired to even throw it away so I left it just like you see in the photo (lacking the note on the right). The next morning I saw this note from my husband! What a sweet note especially considering he wrote it at 4 am before leaving for work.
Looking at it with new eyes I decided to see if I could salvage some of it and this is what I came up with:
After photographing it I really wasn't happy with it so I pulled off the top layer and added a new layer and the large dragonfly....
ending up with this:
Thanks for looking! Hope to see you tomorrow for the first day of the hop with a chance to win the featured stamp set!

ReplyDeleteThe Dino card is very sweet and so is your hubby for leaving you that note! I think your process with the dragonfly card just supports Sue's claim about no mistakes in stamping, only happy accidents!
