Welcome to day one of the Hop! I am so excited to share with you the card I created with the Koi Fish Stamp set.
I created this with TH alcohol reinkers. I had a panel sitting on my desk, a reject from a DTGD challenge. It was quite ugly but I am so glad that I have learned not to toss! I dropped ink onto my felt and this time I added Citrus instead of the red I had previously used and to my surprise I turned something unusable into this gorgeous marble looking panel!
The fish are heat embossed on vellum.
Thanks for looking!
Don't forget to leave a comment for a chance to win today's feature and I hope you will hop along to see the beautiful projects created by the rest of my talented teammates!

A wonderful excuse to be a hoarder! I love how your background looks. I love the lights and shadows. My "Failed" watercolor panel that was destined for the trash, I ended up re working and I actually like it better than the one I used on my card.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful card. I love how you white embossed the Koi and used the distressed ink background.

ReplyDeleteThis is really cool. Love the vellum fish-gives it a whole new look and love to see someone use TH Alcohol inks. They seem to be a forgotten item in everyone's stash. It is the perfect look for this stamp set. I'm pinning this lovely card.
