I decided to go with a "Thank you" card for one of the teachers. We can never have too many "Thank You" cards on hand!
I made a little "chalkboard" for my sentiment using "Big Cupcake". I paper pieced the apple from "Lesson Learned" and popped it up on sticky foam pads.

Thanks so much for looking and I hope you have a great weekend!
A great back to school design. Love the background design paper.

ReplyDeleteAngie--this card is so cute!!! It would make a great thank you card for a teacher! TFS
ReplyDeleteI love how you colored your apple and that little reflection of white pen on there. You really are an artist, Angie!
ReplyDeleteCute card. I love the plaid that showcases your blackboard perfectly. This is a great card for a teacher.
ReplyDeleteTFS.
Angie - great way to interpret the challenge - they have even been back 3.5 weeks here! Love the use of the blackboard technique with your bright shiny apple. The US apples look for shinier than ones here - but we do get ones with lovely flavour! I like your choice of paper too.
ReplyDeleteAngie,
ReplyDeleteSo very cute and I love the DP and blue strip - and your apple is awesome - adorable card.
Angie, I love the plaid DP you used behind your chalkboard message. Great thank-you for a teacher -- they certainly do deserve our thanks.
ReplyDeleteAngie - this is adorable - I do not own this set - you did a lovely job using it for this back to school card - have a wonderful week! Gail DT
