For my first card, I chose one of the images from Name Above All Names. The images in this set remind me of stained glass so I water colored with distress markers for a hint of transparency.
For my next card I played with the background stamp from Winter Blessings, it measures 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" which fits an A2 card without having to reposition the stamp!

Two lovely cards - symbol in a stained glass effect on your first card is really effective and really pretty colours with the snowflakes.
