Hello, friends! I need a one layer card this week so I broke out a couple of stamps from Red Rubber Designs and played along with a couple of Splitcoaststampers Challenges.
For today's TLC577, Judy has us using the "Smackin' Acetate" Technique.
I created a mask by die cutting a circle from text paper, then I scribbled markers on acetate and spritzed with water. The acetate was then placed on top of the mask and the ink was rubbed onto the card front.
After the ink dried I positioned the Fern Sprig stamp and sentiment from Wherever You Go on the MISTI and stamped multiple times to get a rich black image and sentiment.
I am also playing along with this week's Featured Stamper Challenge at Splitcoaststampers. I chose THIS card of Julie's to inspire my design.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Before you go let's take one more look at the fabulous Red Rubber Designs stamp sets.
What a beautiful card Angie. Love your smashing acetate result.
