Good Will Toward Men

Hello, there!  I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving if you celebrated and if not I hope your weekend was a good one!  We enjoyed a week of fun-filled family activities that included a rousing game of RISK which ended in treachery and betrayal (I will name no names).
Today's card features a scripture stamp from The Project Bin which is the  antithesis of the game of RISK!

For the focal point, I masked the borders of a piece of watercolor paper then painted the center with Brushos.  After the center was dry I stamped the scripture from the Luke 2 stamp set, die cut the pine branch and added a few sequins.

This week the Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper IC512, is Precious Kitty!  Jan has a  gallery at Splitcoaststampers which overflows with inspiration and she a such a sweetie, I couldn't wait to create a card for her challenge!  I am also playing along with today's CAS405 challenge to add some Christmas Foliage which is the pine bough.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to my US friends!   Traditionally Thanksgiving is a time to think about what we are grateful for but what if gratitude was our lifestyle  and not just something we talk about once in awhile?  I want to be known for my grateful spirit, don't you?

It struck me last week that I am currently in a season of life which is overflowing with relational groups that encourage one another.  I am truly blessed!  This card was inspired by my walking buddies!  We have a wonderful time chatting while adding to our daily step count!

For today's card, I chose the  Holiday Wreath  and Joyful Notes Unmounted Stamp sets by Red Rubber Designs. The Holiday Wreath
set includes three different wreath styles, an individual sprig stamp, two sentiments and a watermark style stamp for the back of the card!

Although this is a Christmas stamp set I turned the pine wreath into a
Thanksgiving wreath!

Isn't the watermark stamp the cutest?!!!

Luke 2

Hello, Everyone!
Happy Monday! I have fun news to share today!  I am now designing with The Project Bin team!

For my first post with The Project Bin, I am featuring a beautiful Christmas verse  from the Luke 2 stamp set.

I played along with Splitcoaststamper's  IC572 challenge.  Audrie picked a beautiful board full of lovely layered cards to inspire us.  For my card, I cut a SB, Fleur De Lis Rectangle layer from glossy red paper, then stamped the sentiment on white and die cut a smaller layer.  Poinsettia flowers and ribbon finish off the card.

Thanks so very much for joining me today for my very first post with The Project Bin

Here's a look at the gorgeous Christmas scriptures and sentiments:

Celebrate the Everyday

Hello, everyone!  Today I am sharing a quick card I created for a friend.

One of my favorite things to do is check out the daily challenges at  Splitcoaststampers  so for this quick creation, I visited the color challenge, CC608.  Using the colors for inspiration, I painted Brushos Color Crystals on mixed media paper for the background and then the image was watercolored with TH distress inks.

I love this fun image and sentiment from Unity Stamp Co., "Everyday Celebration".  What a wonderful reminder to celebrate every moment, every day!  I especially love using this sentiment since I am notoriously late on birthday cards!!!!!!!!  With this stamp kit, I can skip the "happy "belated birthday" greeting altogether!

Thanks so very much for stopping by today!!!  Now go forth and celebrate the everyday!!!

Christmas Light

Hello, all!!
It's my turn to post my creation on Red Rubber Designs Blog!

I am once again featuring an image from the
but with a very different look.  Instead of coloring with Copic markers I watercolored the image and background.  I also added fun tactile elements such as glossy accents, gems and glitter.  I love running my hands over that stuff!!

This week I used both stamps included in the Faith Hope Love cling mount set so now I hope you will head on over to the
Red Rubber Designs Blog and check out  my card!
