Every Road

Wow, our summer has been anything but ordinary this year!  Our college student came home and took on two jobs so we didn't' see him very much.  Our daughter received a part in a S.T.A.R. production of Hairspray and rehearsed all summer so we didn't see her a lot either! The start of school began last week for our high school student and tomorrow the summer officially ends as we help our college student get situated in an apartment!

With all the hustle and bustle of last minute activities last week I missed out on creating a blog post for a card that I created for Janine's Dare to get Dirty challenge at Splitcoaststampers.  Dare to get Dirty is a fun week for Fan Club members which includes prizes for completing art challenges!

The challenges are top secret for Fan Club members only so I can't tell you the details of Janine's challenge but I can tell you about my card!

My stamp collection didn't include a stamp I wanted to use for Janine's sweet challenge so I thought out of the box a bit and pulled up a photo I took in mid-July then edited it with a sketch app on my phone.

The Dare to get Dirty challenges are done for this year but there is still time to upload projects so I encourage you to check them out!

  3. WOW! Ang, this is amazing, and I LOVE the black and white reproduction of a real photo you took! It's beautiful, and what a perfect get well card it makes. You are so clever and creative! I have to find out what that app is. I may have to try it myself. Haha! Yes, you are continuing to travel a new road yourself with so many changes with Seth and Elisabeth. But I know that you are one proud mom, and you should be! Hugs, sweet friend! xoxo
