Cuddle and Kind Inspiration

I am the hostess this weekend for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.  Everyone is welcome at Splitcoaststampers!  It's a free site with daily challenges and you can create your own gallery!  You can check out my challenge at IC645.

I chose the sweetest site to inspire our art this week.  I was attracted to the site itself.  Lots of white space, soft blue banners, and adorable photos but that's just the beginning.  This company was started by a family whose mission is to feed hungry children!  The purchase of one doll = 10 meals purchased.  Hop on over and check out this sweet site, Cuddle and Kind

I chose THIS adorable image as my inspiration.

This sweet stamp set is from Stampendous and was given to me by my dear friend JaneenK.
There are a collection of photos under Everest the Penguin.  I took inspiration from the baby blanket but also the pretty wall art.   Everest the Penguin is wearing a tan winter hat so I colored my penguin's hat in shades of tan and I colored the sweater to match.  This stamp set is darling and includes dies for the hat and sweater as well as the penguin.  I stamped the penguin but die cut the hat and sweater so no masking or fussy cutting was needed.  I love that!    I loved all the white spare in the wall art photo so for my card, I kept the colors simple and framed the scene with a white rectangle frame.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!!
