The new Impression Obsession Challenge is up and the theme is Quick Christmas cards. The team has loads of inspiration to help you finish those last minute Christmas cards for 2018 or get a head start on 2019!
At first glance, my card doesn't look quick but it really was. I am not a big fan of doing multiples but this is one card I could make many times. The sentiment is included right in the body of the image so there is no need to fool around with finding the right greeting and placement. Just a hint of coloring on the greeting, holly berries, ornaments, and flag is all it takes to make Seasons Greetings Mailbox pop! I added just a bit of gray shading in spots but that only took a few seconds. A few winter clouds with a stencil finished the card!
For the ornaments on the wreath, I added glossy accents.
I hope you will join the challenge and link up your project for a chance to win a $25.00 GC to the IO store! Just head on over to the Impression Obsession Blog to check out the Design Team samples and link up your project!
I am also playing along with today's WT717 Challenge to create a card with window(s) in them. My farmhouse has several windows.
Angie, I love your touches of red with the all black and white images. I love that you kept this clean and simple.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful card Angie - love just the touches of colour and the clouds add an incredible sense of dimension and depth to the scene.

Your card is beautiful, Angie. I love the stamp.
ReplyDeleteThis stamp is gorgeous, and your colouring of select parts allows the whole stamp to shine! The glossy accents on the berries were worth the drying time :)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I really like how you did this one. Impression Obsession stamps are some of my favorites...(but I have to honest and tell you that I usually let my hubby color them for me...smile) I have to look for this stamp at the next stamp show we go to...I always have to go see all the stamps in their booth!
