Hello! It's time for an Old is New segment at Impression Obsession. The team creates fresh projects with older stamps so stop by the IO blog for a look at what the team has come up with!
It's no secret Christmas cards are my favorite cards to create. I don't know why but they make me happy and they are the easiest cards to photograph so all around, I am one happy camper. Since it's September 1st it's also time for a new SCS Fan Club Christmas Challenge. I took a flower that I had not inked yet and used the no-line watercolor technique. It's not even a Christmas flower but with a little red paint, it became one! :) The sentiment is from a clear Christmas sentiment set with some great fonts!
For my bonus project this week I drew the blueberries and painted them for Watercolor Wednesday. The sentiment is Sweet Journey, an older sentiment that was released along with a sweet Floral Cake and yummy Floral Chocolates.
What gorgeous cards Angie- love your conversion of the lotus into a Christmas flower, and your blueberries are fabulous

Both of these are gorgeous! Your watercoloring is amazing.
ReplyDeleteI seem to be collecting a lot of IO sentiments. This Christmas one looks like one I need!
ReplyDeleteImmensely elegant cards, Angie. Your way with watercolouring is endlessly inspiring and such a lovely treat to see.
