Enduring Comfort Watercolor

Hello!   All this week I have been creating with watercolor and my favorite tools! I decided to keep on my trend for the week and watercolor for my blog post over at My Sweet Petunia!

I placed the Lotus Flower 3 in the Original MISTI and inked it with Shadow ink.  Without moving the stamp, I simply flipped the watercolor paper around and stamped again!  For the flower petals, I mixed Daniel Smith's Jane's Grey, and Indigo.  I chose Enduring Comfort for my sentiment because I was talking with a friend this week who was making sympathy cards.  I realized that I don't have any in my stash and it's always easier for me to create a sympathy card when I don't need one!

I share my process for this card and most of my cards over on the My Sweet Petunia blog today.

Here is what I used to create this card.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  2. Serene, immensely lovely sympathy greeting. This has such a comforting tranquility to it.

I'm with you completely and try very hard to keep both sympathy and get well cards on hand as often as possible.

We are feeling the blues this week at the F4ALL Challenge.  We can make mostly blue cards, make a music card, or make an encouragement card ...
