FOSTV 45 - Anything Goes

Happy Monday! For those of you on Day Light Savings Time did you enjoy your extra hour of sleep?? I usually end up reading during that extra hour instead of sleeping!!! Well...are you ready for a new FOSTV challenge? It's an easy one this time! This week's challenge is "ANYTHING goes". It's all up to you so create what you enjoy! Have fun and HERE is where you can enter MFP a HC Friends of Speedy TV challenge!

For my card I combined the last HYCCT challenge of the month which is to show the outdoors on your card with FOSTV'S ANYTHING GOES. I used MFP a HC "On the Fly" for my project. I LOVE this stamp. It has a big impact but is super easy to color!!! I stamped the cabin a second time, cut it out and popped up the top with foam sticker but glued down the bottom of the cabin. IRL it has a great 3D appearance! I hope it brings a little "outdoor" feeling to a patient that may have been cooped up for awhile in the hospital.

Speedy Fox & Friends 132 - Ric Rac

Happy weekend! I hope you had a good week and have some fun plans for the weekend! At Speedy Fox and Friends this week our challenge is to add Ric Rac! For all the details on the challenge you can head HERE.

I spent the month of October working on as many HYCCT cards as possible. For this card I used the HYCCT challenge to use 2 of everything and of course our Speedy Fox & Friends challenge to use ric rac! I can't get enough of Mark's Finest Paper's a Heinrich Co. Butterfly stamps!!! The butterflies used on this card are part of the new set: "Cracked Hello" .

I spritzed the butterflies with Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz to give them just a bit of a glittery look.

FOSTV 44 - CAS sketch

Happy Monday!!! I hope you had a good weekend! It's the start of a new week and a new challenge at FOSTV! Our challenge this week is a CAS Sketch challenge. I hope you will have a lot of fun with it. You can find all the details of the FOSTV challenge at Mark's Finest Papers a Heinrich Co. HERE.

CAS Sketch

I signed up at SCS with the Christmas Card challenge and challenged myself to make 5 Christmas cards a month. That has turned out to be a bigger challenge than I imagined but I have managed to reach my goal each month!! This card was my 5th for October, Woohoo!!!

I used two brand new sets, Poinsettia Blooms and Christmas Selections, available now in the MFP a Heinrich Co. store. For my card I felt like I had too many sharp edges so I rounded 2 corners on each small square.

Ok, So DH just looked over my shoulder and said, "It should have a candle or something on it with that sentiment". Tell me what you think....is it fine....or do I need to redo?

Today is the last day of the hop! I hope you enjoyed all the goodies the designers have created for you this week! For our last day we have the new release "On the Fly" to share with you! I have to tell you when I saw this stamp set I was delighted! A few weeks ago we went on a small vacation. My sweetie looked online and FOUND a scrapbooking store for me to visit. They had some pretty stamps with mountains, cabins etc. I was SO tempted to purchase one because I knew my DH would like that kind of card. You can imagine what a treat it was to see this stamp set since I didn't pick up one on vacation!! Just as I expected, when my DH saw this card he said, "Ahhhh, I LIKE this one!!!" :-)

Welcome to day 3 of the hop! Today we are showcasing MFP a Heinrich Co. "Cracked Hello". This set has a cool background stamp that looks like crackle paint! It includes several sentiments and a gorgeous butterfly!

I used the "ghosting" technique on my tag. I inked up the "cracked paint" stamp with VersaMark watermark ink then sponged on the color! At first I didn't think it was working but as I kept sponging on more color....the cracks began to appear!!!
