It was a busy weekend but I made time to make these cute cards!  The cards were made and sent out to 4 adorable children.  A special card drive is going on right now. For more details see http://giovana-believe.blogspot.com/

I took the idea of the card we made on Thursday and changed it up a bit.
Stamp: Stampabilities Hot Air Balloon 2, MFP Ginger Cookies,(sentiment)
Ink:StazOn Timber Brown, Martha Stewart dark blue, ocean, and sea lavendar
Paper: SU Crumb Cake, K& Co. Sweet Nectar Colorbok

I cut out a cloud pattern then sponged on blue around edges of pattern and repeated to make the sky.  Paper pieced the balloons and popped them up.

What a nice day I had on Thursday.  I had a visitor and we had a great time stamping!!!!  We used

as the inspiration for her project!

We shared some laughs over the cat's play and some giggles when the printer didn't print out the sentiment correctly, not once but TWICE!

It was a lovely day and will be a favorite stamping memory for me!

Good morning!  I am excited about the new arrangement my husband came up with for the office!!!  We moved some furniture around...I am now working on the butcher block table to make my cards and we removed the card table.  We can move around in this room once again.  It is going to be a fun space to stamp!

Here is "Colors of Fall" I made for "My Favorite Thing" sketch challenge and Stamp TV "leaf" challenge.

We are back from a 4 day camping trip.  Steve and I camped and backpacked right from the beginning of our marriage so when kids were born we just kept at it.  We took Seth out when he was 6 weeks and Elisabeth when she was 5 weeks old!!!  Most of our trips have been to the same State Park so there are MANY memories.  During this trip it really hit me how much the kids have grown up....and how there are only a few more years left in this part of our family journey.  I want to try and ENJOY the moments more!!

Seth slept in his own tent this trip and took lots of solo walks!  Elisabeth enjoyed the hammock swing Steve made.  The yellow jackets were really bad!  They came out when the food was on the table...they would nibble on the scraps until they had them in small enough bites, then they would fly off with them!!!  It rained on our 3rd day but we still enjoyed ourselves adding warmth with lots of cocoa!!!

Steve and Seth found a geocache.
It was a wonderful trip!!!!

CPS Sketch #238
I made this for my mother who is having foot surgery on Friday....but I might just have to make another for my daughter's teacher!
This card shouldn't have taken me so long to make....but I am still a beginner!!  I cut out 2 other "strip" DP before I realized this yellow dotted one should be used for the strips!

I made these for the SCS Hope You Can Cling To challenges.  These cards will get packaged up along with any others I can make this week and sent to MD Anderson for visitors to give to patients.

"Wishing you Hope"  was CASEd from a pin I saw today on Pinterest.  The pic came from stampyblock.blogspot.com .  She makes beautiful cards!

"HOPE" was made thanks to my SU distributor for lending me her stamp set "Day of Gratitude"!

It's a BEAUTIFUL fall Saturday morning so I thought I would do some stamping.   I used the inspiration challenge over at SCS as my starting point for this birthday card for my friend Debbie.  I am not sure if I should take off the pearls on the flowers or put pearls on ALL the flowers.  I tucked brown punched butterfly silhouettes behind each of the butterflies.  I think it helps them stand out.  I used Versamark watermark stamp for the stems.  The stem stamp is from Stampendous Encouraging words.  Clear stamps are great...That is just one stem and I repositioned it on the block to make the stems interesting!
