I went a little wild with all the distressing on this card!!! First of all I stressed the edges of the papers with a distressing tool, I misted the edges of all the die cuts to give them a bit of a crumpled look instead of the clean, sharp look that dies produce.. I tore the edges of the treasure map and you can see in the photo below I burned the edges and "X marks the spot" with a burning tool. This treasure map has definitely seen better days!!! The Treasure box was coated with glossy accents and gives it shine with the added benefit of an aged apperance from accidentally touching it numerous times before it was dry. Don't ask me why I left it on my work space instead of putting it up like I usually do while waiting for glossy accents to dry! TFL and have a great week!
