My altered project is a wooden gift bag that I bought at Michael's YEARS ago. Long long ago when my kids were into crafts we painted several of them as Christmas gifts for their cousins.
One of the things that I love about working with paper crafts is that I keep finding uses for items that I have bought over the years in other crafting phases! I pulled 2 things from my "past craft stash" this week. One was the box and the second was my "deluxe E-Z Bowmaker". It is really designed to create larger bows but it worked on this small one which turned out pretty well, I think. The ribbon is from a sweet friend that introduced me to Splitcoastampers and I will be forever thankful to her for opening up a whole world of online crafting! I used MFP a Heinrich Co. Autumn Splendor for these cute acorns and pumpkin. The sentiment is from MFP a Heinrich Co. Welcome Poppies. I sponged the doily and the framelit label with Memento Potters Clay.
This is the stamp set up for grabs for this challenge:
What I used for my project:
Autumn Splendor |
Welcome Poppies |
$1.00 Wooden gift bag
DCWV Autumn Melody Matstack
SU! Framelits Labels Collection
Doily and some pearls
and don't forget the deliciously edible Pumpkin Hershey's Kisses!
Thanks for looking and have a great week!
Very pretty gift bag - nice bit of altering.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great wooden gift bag and your project really says Fall with the pretty acorns and pumpkins. Love your ribbon. It is always great to get to use thing from the old stash.
ReplyDeleteSorry about your cold...my allergies are really bad and I think I'll have to go to the doctor. I'm coughing myself silly.
Maybe some Hershey's kiss would help. LOL
