The special stamp set we have for you this month is:

"Dino News"

The mini stamp set we have for you this month is

"Dragonflies"

Welcome to day 1 of the hop! "Lotus Blossom" is our featured set today.  I had fun playing around with a mixed media background for this one.  I used Bundled Sage, Tumbled Glass and Victorian Velvet Distress Stain and Gesso.  I stippled Broken China Distress ink over drywall tape and splattered white acrylic paint.  The flowers and dragonfly were colored with Copics.

The inside:

For this card I used the Lotus Blossom flower that I had actually colored for the card above.  When I was finished I realized that the pinks just didn't match my mixed media BG so I set it aside for later.  It turned out I had some SEI paper that is a perfect match for the Lily Pad!  I refrained from adding a dragonfly on this one.

Don't forget to leave a comment on this blog for a chance to win today's feature and I hope you will hop along to see the beautiful projects created by the rest of my talented teammates!
Thanks for looking!
