PocketPenPals from Scor-Pal

Today on Splitcoaststampers the Product Focus team is reviewing dies from Scor-Pal!  Yes, you read that correctly, the name you trust for all your paper-scoring needs now has dies!

I created several projects with these dies so hop on by and check out my review along with all of the design team's samples, reviews and a terrific video!

Today I am going to share with you this super fun project that I created with the Scor-Dies Basics A, B and C sets using Janette Lane's Pocket Letter  concept.

Take a 9 pocket trading card folder, die cut the cute cards from Scor-Dies and fill
the pockets with fun goodies for your friends!  It's the ultimate concept for RAKs!

Filled with a little pouch of sequins

Basics A and B

Finish off the pocket letter by folding in thirds, tie with ribbon and place in an envie!

Now hop on over to the Product Focus Review for a great video tutorial, reviews, samples and much more to see what you can do with Pocket PenPals dies from Scor-Pal!!

  3. I first learned of a pocket letter when I got one from a friend. I thought it was cool; didn't know it was a thing. Then another lady tried to explain it at a stamp club and just no one understood it at all. This is a great explanation of it, with visuals. I love those dies that are being made to go with pocket letters. I've seen the 'pretties n things' die used on a card and thought it brilliant. Very nifty!!!

    1. Dinah, the dies do a great job cutting out paper. For some of the more intricate dies I would run through my Sizzix Big Kick then turn the paper/die 45 degrees and cut again. I would do this several times for heavy weight paper but I love working with the dies for pocket letters. They add a very pretty touch!!
