Watercolor Wednesday Christmas Tree

Hello! My mom told me she had not seen any posts from me recently; today will change that!  This is my second post for the day, and I hope you will stop back by tonight around 8 PM EST for our IO Christmas Blog Hop.

It's Wednesday, so it's time for a new Watercolor Wednesday Challenge.  This week, Kia has chosen a beautiful tree for us to watercolor.  The artist in the video sketched her tree, but I used a Picket Fence Studios tree and Ink On 3 Fadeout Ink. The tree stamped so lightly that I was almost painting from scratch, but I had a hint of an outline here and there to guide me.  I used a trick I saw Lydia use on one of her FB LIVEs.  Since I couldn't see where to paint my snow and greenery, I checked my design by placing the printed tree acetate cover of the stamp set over my painting.  Then I removed it and painted what I remembered.

SCS Challenges are open to everyone, and we would love it if you joined us!

Here is what I used today:

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
