Hello!  Welcome to the Picket Fence Studios February Release Day!

Since today is also Valentine's Day, I thought I would start off with the lovely, Nothing Short of Amazing Stamp.  This is such a fabulous set with meaningful sentiments.  After stamping the beautiful girl, I ink blended around her with Life-Changing Blender Brushes. Next, I splattered her with Peony Pink Paper Glaze and Ocean Poppy Paper Glaze.

Next, we have two products I am super excited about.  The Sparks Cover Plate Die and the Fancy Congratulations stamp and Coordinating Die.  I just adore how the coordinating die hugs the stamped sentiment.  The Coordinating Die adds a little extra something to every card!  Lastly, I sprinkled some Ocean Breeze Sequins.  I think this is headed to a very special College Graduate who loves green.  :)

Next, up I used the new Slimline English Brick Stencil.  I had the idea of a bird on a brick wall so I googled it and found a gorgeous photo of a brick wall missing bricks.  The missing bricks were in a pretty open window design showing a view of a deep blue sky so I did my best to repeat the idea using the square from the Slimline Die Cutting System.  Instead of a deep blue sky, I created a cloudy sky with the Cloud Coverage Stencil and Life-Changing Blender Brushes. The sweet little bird is from the Song Birds Stamp set.  I cut him out with the Coordinating Die then perched him on the window ledge.  Next, I added a sentiment from Ways to Express Yourself.  This sentiment set has 26 ways to express yourself!

With this card, I am also celebrating this week's Featured Stamper, Linda (hotwheels).

I just couldn't help but squeeze in one more!  I adore the new Thank You die! The fancy script takes any design up a notch!  I added a bird with the Coordinating Bird Song die and Maple Leaves Die.  The background is the Slimline Basket Petals Stencil and Distress Oxide inks blended with Life-Changing Blender Brushes.

All of February's stamps, dies, and stencils are available now, just head to the store from HERE!

  1. Wonderfully lovely cards. There is a fantastic thread of cheerfulness and vibrancy that runs through all of them. The sentiment lettering on the birdie topped greeting really made me swoon. It's bright, fun, and very springtime feeling.
