Multiples with the MISTI

**Affiliate Links used when possible at no cost to you!**

Hello! Today I am over at the MSP Blog featuring cards made with previously created re-inker backgrounds.  I am also playing along with this week's Ways To Use It Challenge at SCS.

First, I like to adhere the background to the base of the card.  The Cut-Align rulers make alignment a breeze.  I line up a horizontal line on the ruler with the base of the card, making certain that the 0 on the ruler is at the center of the base card.  For this card, the base is 2 1/8 from 0 center.  It's easy to adhere the next layer to the base perfectly centered.

I stamped the balloon from IO's Celebrate Everything several times on the inky watercolor paper.  A MISTI is a must because it took about 5 times of stamping to get total coverage on the rough paper.  For the stamping of the balloon, I used my MINI MISTI, and then for the balloon string, I used the New Original MISTI.  In that way, I had a bit of an assembly line going.  Lastly, I stamped the sentiment, Just For You

Thanks for looking and happy stamping!

  1. Love using my MISTI - although I only have the mini, it is very well used!! These cards are wonderful Angie, and yes, stamping on watercolour paper can be difficult, as I discovered recently - it was marker to the rescue in my case :)

  2. Such a cheery, timelessly sweet and versatile greeting. It's my b-day in two days and I'm definitely in the mood for balloons of all types, so this beautiful card is jiving with me all the more, my sweet friend.

We are feeling the blues this week at the F4ALL Challenge.  We can make mostly blue cards, make a music card, or make an encouragement card ...
