Snow Time in Blue and Pink

Hello! It's June 1st, and that means it's time for a brand-new Splitcoaststampers Fan Club Christmas Challenge! There is something so satisfying about adding a few holiday cards to the stash during the warmer months. Future me is always grateful when December arrives and I already have a collection of handmade cards ready to mail.

For today's card, I combined two adorable SweetMissDaisy Designs snowman stamp sets to create a soft pastel winter scene filled with snowy charm.

I began by selecting a piece of light blue cardstock and embossing it with a snowflake embossing folder. To highlight the texture, I rolled Moonlight White ink over the raised snowflakes using a brayer. The effect is subtle but beautiful, creating gentle variations in color that give the background extra dimension without overpowering the design.

Next, I stamped the Watering Can Snowman image onto a die-cut panel and colored his hat, scarf, gloves, and sweater in soft pink tones. I love how the pink accents create a whimsical winter feel that is a little different from traditional holiday colors.

To continue the snowy theme, I added three die-cut snowflakes and finished each one with a blue gem center for a bit of sparkle. The sentiment, "It's Snow Time," comes from the Snowman and Fence stamp set. I stamped it onto a die-cut tag and, instead of tying ribbon through the opening, added a coordinating blue gem for a clean and simple finishing touch.

The result is a soft pastel winter wonderland that feels cheerful, cozy, and perfect for a Christmas card.

If you'd like to recreate this look, you can find the stamps and papers I used over at the SweetMissDaisy Designs Shop. You can easily adapt this handmade card design using your favorite stamps, embossing folders, and coloring techniques. Card making is a wonderful way to share creativity while sending something meaningful and handmade. I hope this project inspires you to build your holiday stash before the winter rush!

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Happy stamping!
