The special stamp set we have for you this month is:
"Love Script"

The mini stamp set we have for you this month is

"Big Cupcake"

Welcome to day one of the hop!  For my first card I created a pocket to hold a tag and stamped the Pot with clovers to decorate the pocket.

Shown with the tag outside the pocket with a sentiment from the "Lots of Luck" stamp set.

A simple inside stamped with the large clover stamp.

For my second card I created a clean and simple design.  I wish "simple" could mean ....quick and easy! This took me hours of trial and error, playing around with stamp designs and papers before I finally decided on this!

A close up to see how cool this clover turned out.  The lines on this stamp make it easy to cut out, and fold to give lots of dimension!

Please hop along to see the other fabulous projects my teammates have created for you and don't forget to leave a comment, you just might win today's stamp set!

MFP a HC - February Special Features

Hi!  So glad you stopped by to check out the MFP a Heinrich Co. Special Features for this month.  I hope you will stop by all week long to see the February stamp sets with a chance to win one each day!

My first card showcases the new stamp set, "Love Script".  I stamped the love script on DP and then spritzed it with gold shimmer spary.  I distressed the edges with a Tim Holtz Distressing tool and then sponged a bit of "Victorian Velvet" on the edges.  My son came in while I was working on this card and started chatting with me.  I wasn't happy with the look of the triple layered heart so I took off the top layer and as I did so it tore.  My son cracked me up....right in the middle of his conversation he didn't miss a beat but said...."now you have gone and done it...you have a mess there!"  I laughed so hard!  It was just so amusing to hear that flow into his conversation and when I thought he wasn't paying any attention to what I was doing!

My second card showcases this month's mini set:  Big cupcake.  I let myself go on this one and enjoyed my pink girly side!!!  I paper pieced the candy hearts and gave them some glaze with Glossy Accents.  I also paper pieced the cupcake liner.  For a little fun I added the white bow and pearls.  Looks good enough to eat to me!!!

You can see some more creations right here at Mark's Finest Papers & Stamps a Heinrich Co. blog

Speedy Fox & Friends 146 - Love

Woohoo it's the weekend and that means it's Speedy Fox & Friends challenge!  Our challenge this week is to create a card with "Love" as the theme! For all the info and DT inspiration join us HERE

My calendar is just full of anniversaries, birthdays and of course Valentines so it wasn't difficult for me to find a reason to create a card with "Love" as the theme.  This card is winging it's way north, to help celebrate the 49th wedding anniversary of my MIL and FIL!

I used the stamp set "Love, Love, Love" for the sentiment and the rose.  I stamped the heart stamp with the small rose twice and cut out just the rose from both hearts.  I layered the smaller piece on top of the larger one much like I did last week with the larger rose stamp only for this one I cut just two rose layers.

Inside:

One lucky winner will receive this stamp set:
This is the stamp set I used for card.  I stamped the heart twice and cut out the full rose from one and on inner petals from the second stamped image to layer the coral colored rose.
Love, Love, Love

Supplies used: Stamp: MFP a HC - Love, love love.  Paper: MME - Market, Natural CS and Recollections Soda Pop.  Acces: Spellbinders - Labels four, Sizzix Branches and Leaves, MFT ribbon

Speedy Fox & Friends 145 - Paper Piecing

Happy Weekend!!!  I hope you are safe and snugly on this first weekend in February!  What a wild week of weather for some of us in the U.S. this week.  We had a tornado warning earlier in the week just as I was dropping kids off to school.  My daughter told me she was very afraid along with her fellow students.  They were all squeezed together along the hall as far from windows and things that could fall on them as possible.  The day that followed was COLD but beautiful and things are back to normal here.

So it's Saturday and that means Speedy Fox & Friends challenge!  Our challenge this week is to paper piece.  I love paper piecing.  I usually stamp several different patterns of DP, then cut and glue them to the full stamped image but today, I used all the same DP to create a layered Rose.

I drew inspiration from this week's  SCS color challenge and sketch challenge.

Stamp set used:
