A Wreath

**Affiliate links used when possible with no additional cost to you**

Hello!  It's Wednesday and that means it's time for another Watercolor Wednesday Challenge!  We are painting wreaths this week from a tutorial that features three different wreaths.  I combined two of the wreaths to make mine and then I added splatters. The sentiment is from Picket Fence Studios: Fancy Christmas Sentiments

Splitcoaststampers is a free online art community that offers tutorials, daily challenges, personal galleries, and much more!   If you haven't joined SCS or haven't been there in a long time, we would love to see you there!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

I used this paper for the project but it's not 100% cotton so does not have some of the properties that are found in 100% Cotton.
This is a beautiful paper I like to use as often as I can.

Trick or Treat

This week we have chosen Fall as our them for the Free 4 All challenge!

First, I created a bright pink sky with Sweet Petunia Pink, ink and then I stamped the fun Trick or Treat Slim Scene.  This is a set of two so the stamps can be used separately for endless possibilities!  To finish the card, I used the Happy Halloween die cut.

As cardmakers we know we need to get our Christmas stamps and dies early so we can finish before the mailing deadline so how about a little sale?
The current sale at IO is Ornaments no coupon code is needed!

There is still plenty of time to leave comments on Day 1 and Day 2 of our October Release for a chance to win!  There is so much to love this month. New this month is a lot of Christmas to help you get started on your Christmas card making but there are slimline stamps, Western-themed stamps, and dies, and much more!   All of the new items can be found HERE.

I hope you are having a wonderful week!  Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas Magic - IO Release Day 2 & Giveaway

**Affiliate links used when possible which means I earn a small commission when you buy from clicking a link with no added cost to you!**

Welcome back to Day 2 of the Impression Obsession October Release!  I would love to know what your favorites are so far!

Once, again I had a difficult time choosing what I wanted to share with you!  The good news is all of the new items are available now with no waiting just click HERE and browse!

I really enjoyed creating with this unique Santa Moon. This die would make short work of a long Christmas card list!  Here is what I used:

I am excited to share with you several things about this next card.  First, I love bows and paper bows are the best for cards as they mail flat!  This is an especially delightful bow set because the beautiful layers are topped with a small piece that is glued onto the bow layers without the need to fold over tabs.  I don't know about you, but I have the hardest time with tabbed bows!  The other fun thing about this bow is that it comes in a Small Layered Bow set (which I used here) and a Large Layered Bow.
The next fun thing about this card is that I used a gnome from the Easter Gnome set (but THIS gnome is also adorable if you are looking for a gnome)!  I love it when I can use something I already have differently!  The Easter Gnomes are absolutely adorable!  I just switched out one of the cute little Easter-themed hand-held items for a heart.  (the heart is from the Primitive Gingerbread Accessory set.)  Lastly, I used a sentiment from the cute Gnome Christmas Sayings set stamped on the Large Frame.

I am also entering both cards to Art Nudge #77.

Once again you can find a list of participants on the Impression Obsession Blog. We will be giving away THREE Impression Obsession $25 gift certificates for the event - so the more you comment through our Release Celebration the more chances to win!

Christmas & More IO October Release Day 1 & Giveaway

**Affiliate links used when possible which means I earn a small commission when you buy from clicking a link with no added cost to you!**

Hello!  Welcome to Day 1 of the Impression Obsession October Release!  This release is so jam-packed that it was a struggle deciding which stamps and dies to share!  I finally made my decision by selecting cards featuring different categories from this release. Make sure to look for all the HOP & Prize details listed below.

First up is the stunning Nativity.  This Slim Scene features the first Christmas in beautifully crisp detail!

Next, I am showcasing one of the new background stamps, Holiday Patterns.  I paired Holiday Patterns with All Roads Truck and tucked the Stitched Frame Tag into the background.

Lastly, I am featuring a western-themed card. Not everything new this month is Christmas-themed so if Christmas isn't your thing make sure to check the NEW items in the store for a complete list.  I stamped the Barbed Wire Background stamp on a Distress Ink blended background.  I dusted the Cowboy Boot Pair lightly with distress ink, along with the mugs from the Thermos & Mugs die setStitched Tag #5 comes with the perfect sized banner for one of the new Cowboy Boot Sayings 1 and the tag itself makes a lovely background for the die-cuts.

There isn't room in this post to share all of the fabulous new items for October, so I am providing a link HERE.  All of the new items are available now with no waiting!

Each day (October 4th & 5th) you can find a list of participants on the Impression Obsession Blog. We will be giving away THREE Impression Obsession $25 gift certificates for the event - so the more you comment through our Release Celebration the more chances to win!
All comments for each of the event days will be open until Monday, October 11th at midnight All winners will be announced on Tuesday, Oct 12th on the Impression Obsession Blog.

Christmas with Rocky and Apollo

Hello!  In case you need to hear this, it's October 1st!  Yikes!  The first of the month means it's time for a new Fan Club Christmas Challenge at SCS.  I am also entering this in this week's F4ALL Challenge for zoo animals.  Recently, I have come across several stories of domesticated cats making their homes in zoos with bears and other animals!

I took out my favorite Hero Arts Christmas set and debuted Rocky and Apollo!  Ok, so I will have to practice coloring these guys as they are not nearly as easy to color as Tiger and Little Bit but you get the idea!

I used my New Original MISTI for all the stamping.  Oh, this MISTI is a dream to use and so sturdy with new hinges.  If you have been waiting for the New Original MISTI to be back in stock, your wait is over!  Just click the link above and head to the store to place your order!

In case you don't follow me on FB here is a look at our year-old rescues.  According to the vet, they are not brothers and Apollo is younger.  Apollo is very tall and VERY long.  Rocky has short stubby legs and looks like a kitten!  They have the sweetest disposition and very few bad habits.  We are smitten!

Thank you for stopping by and happy crafting!
