Just Because!

Hi!  Happy Monday!  I am posting today, well, Just BEEcause!  This Friday over at SCS some of us participated in a Mini VSN (Virtual Stamp Night)  There were 6 challenges on Friday night and the MAIN VSN is going to be March 1st and March 2nd.  I am acting as hostess on March 2 at 3PM EST.  If you have a little time on your hands we hope you will stop by and play along with us!

We have 45 minutes to complete each challenge.  This does not include the time it takes to decide on papers and you can have images already colored.  Here is what I created for the VSN:

Challenge was to create a "Punny" card:

Challenge was to create a "Baby" card
For this card I used one of the January 2013 release stamps from MFP a Heinrich Co. "Oh Baby".

Challenge was to create a card with "Spring flowers":

Challenge was to create a "sympathy" card

Challenge was to create a card following a recipe: 2 birds, 3 embellishments and 4 colors from a photo of Parrots.

Challenge was to use hexagons somewhere on the card and for extra honey add a bee.

Thanks for looking and I hope to see you playing along the first weekend in March at Splitcoaststampers!

  1. Angie - what a great set of cards. I really like them all but that baby one is oh so cute. 45 minutes is just about OK but I could not colour all my images in that time too. As I am JayBee I am obviously attracted to the bees too.

  4. Angie, these are all amazing. Love the insides, too. They are finished to perfection. The pieced bird scene is so cool. I couldn't get it together for that challenge. Well done on all of them, what a great collection of cards you've created.
