Blogging with Friends - Scraps

Hi!!!  Today is the last day of the month so that means it is time for "Blogging with Friends" monthly challenge.  A group of us meet at SCS on a forum thread and challenge each other to create card(s) with a theme and then we have fun visiting each other's blogs or thread post to see what everyone has come up with!  This month's theme is brought to us by Misti and her challenge to us is: Scraps, use those scraps!

Every one of the papers used on this card are scraps except for the card base and the black layer on top of the base.  Even the largest piece on this card was already cut out to this size but rejected previously.  I looked back at my SCS gallery to see when I created these scraps and it was almost a year ago.  July 27th I posted 5 cards using this paper stack!

I have quite a few storage spots for my scraps.  There is a box for reject die cuts, a box of stamped images and one for small DP scraps.  Larger solid scraps go into Plastic folders and most of the time Designer Paper scraps stay in the pads.  This card started out at my "Stamped Images" storage box.  I pulled out the circle with the stamped image and decided to see if I could make it into a card.

A little Gesso and some drywall masking for the background, the Unity sketch from this month's "Unity Stamp company" challenge and viola!  A card from scraps!

I am entering this card into: Unity {be inspired} challenge: Sketch
