"S" is for Sponging and Sketch

(There are still a few more days left to enter my blog Candy give away, click HERE for more info.)

Hi!  Even though school is out for us we still have a few events left!  Our daughter will dance in her ballet recital this Sunday.  She will be dancing a small part in a 3 hour production of "Hunchback of Notre Dame"!  As a farewell "thank you" I made her dance teacher this card with a little help from Simon Says Stamp & Show (S challenge) and SCS Sketch challenge SC439 .  I added grosgrain ribbon attached by a spiral clip so I am also entering Craftin Desert Diva's challenge with this card.

I heat embossed the ballet dancer silhouette with clear EP and then (S)ponged Victorian Velvet distress Ink around the panel.  I sponged a little heavier around the image to give it a bit of shadow.  I think it does look a bit like velvet!

On the inside a little gift holder with a yummy Gift Card.

Challenges I am entering with this card:

Thanks for looking!!!

Supplies used: Stamps - Recollections Ballerina wooden stamp, Sentiment by Verve.  Paper - MFT Natural, Pink Paislee - London Market, MFPaHC 140lb White Premium Paper.  Acces: Spellbinders Splendid Circles, Spiral Clip, Gems and MFT Whip Cream Ribbon
