Hi! Even though school is out for us we still have a few events left! Our daughter will dance in her ballet recital this Sunday. She will be dancing a small part in a 3 hour production of "Hunchback of Notre Dame"! As a farewell "thank you" I made her dance teacher this card with a little help from Simon Says Stamp & Show (S challenge) and SCS Sketch challenge SC439 . I added grosgrain ribbon attached by a spiral clip so I am also entering Craftin Desert Diva's challenge with this card.
I heat embossed the ballet dancer silhouette with clear EP and then (S)ponged Victorian Velvet distress Ink around the panel. I sponged a little heavier around the image to give it a bit of shadow. I think it does look a bit like velvet!
On the inside a little gift holder with a yummy Gift Card.
