Die Cut Obsession - Bird Watching

Today I am featuring beautiful dies from Impression Obsession!  I created a scene inspired by my daily bird watching.  All during the day, we stop and simply watch the comings and goings of a very active bird community.  We enjoy a large family of cardinals which are simply gorgeous whether framed on branches without leaves or clutching a branch of the holly bush.  Jerry and Gayle (Parks and Rec) are our House Finches, they were briefly joined by a large community of House Finches but they seem to have since moved on leaving Jerry and Gayle to entertain us alone.  We enjoy watching a multitude of Yellow Finches and sparrows zoom back and forth as well as a population of the Tufted Titmouse.
To create my scene, I used the following dies and colored them with Copic markers: Birdhouse Set, Grass Border, and Cardinals.  For my birds, I used the Cardinals Die and colored them in a variety of ways reflecting my backyard view but IO also has a Small Bird Set that could be used to add a variety of birds to a scene.

The IO design team have set aside a couple days to share some fabulous new Impression Obsession die projects! Have fun checking out what the Designers have made today. A list of participants can be found on the Impression Obsession Blog!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Now here's a closer look at today's featured dies:

  1. When we are watching the squirrels pinching the bird food we will think of you and your birds - we do get blue tits, robins and starlings in our garden when the local cats stay away. Love the little scene you created - great colours

  3. There is so much about this card I like. The brilliant colors if course. The artistic blending that spreads so softly and the sweet tiny rounded corners on your layers. Sigh.

  4. I know what you mean about watching the birds! We too could watch them all day! We also check on our chickens & they enjoy the visits of the wild birds (usually Cardinals), & seem to communicate with them! LOL Your little scene is SO PRETTY! I also like how you added texture to the birdhouses! ;) A BEAUTIFUL JOB, Angie!!! ;) INKY HUGS for your visits! ;)

And Snow it Goes with Hearts

We are feeling the blues this week at the F4ALL Challenge.  We can make mostly blue cards, make a music card, or make an encouragement card ...
