I hope everyone is safe and sound this weekend!
I am the hostess for the Inspiration Challenge at SCS this week and I chose a site rich in history along with beautiful items to inspire our designs. Edna Ruth Byler founded the site and was instrumental in starting the Free Trade movement! Check out my card in the SCS gallery to learn more about ten thousand villages and view what inspired my design.
Turns out this card is more timely than I realized as I wait to hear from family members that they made it safely through the storm that made landfall early this morning. Family is everything.
First I brushed distress ink in a circular motion with my Life Changing Blender Brush, then I splattered a bit of water on the ink. Next, I stamped this adorable Fish and die cut from the coordinating die. I stamped the sweet Family sentiment below the fish and that was it!
I am playing along with AAA Cards Maxi White Space. (I didn't play along with the optional twist)
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Aloha, Angela!! This is so sweet and previous to look at! It's very CAS ❤️ I hope your family and everyone down in the South are going to be ok after this storm moves through. Lots of love!
ReplyDeleteAngie this card is just gorgeous - love the simplicity of it.
