I hope this Saturday finds you well!
Happy or sad I try to create a little something almost every day and for the most part, I pour my feelings into the art I create. The events of the past few weeks have been scary and sad.  When my mind wanders to scary places I remind myself I am not alone (Matt. 28:20).  Here is what I created to encourage myself and I hope it encourages you too!
First I made a mix from:
Paper Glaze - Cornflower Blue
Paper Glaze - Succulent Green
Paper Glaze - Snowdrop White
Next, I used a palette knife to add just the Ocean Poppy on the lower portion of the Mermaid Scales Stencil.  Next, I mixed in Succulent Green and Cornflower Blue with Ocean Poppy and added it to the stencil.  Finally, at the top of the stencil, I used all four Glazes.   IRL the shimmer and shine are gorgeous!
I colored two of the underwater plants from Things on the Sea Floor
and then die cut them with the Things on the Sea Floor Coordinating Die.  Lastly, I added have faith from Swim in the Sea and a sentiment from the super sweet Every Good and Perfect Gift set.
Bonus! Bonus! Right now Picket Fence Studios is offering a free stencil with orders over $25.00.

Since many of us have extra time on our hands why not enjoy a crafty challenge?  Splitcoaststampers has new creative challenges every day!  Saturday's challenge is the Inspiration Challenge and we are visiting Ellen Hutson this week.

What a gorgeous card Angie - it must be so shiny and textural IRL! Love that wonderful sentiment too - truly He is with us!
