It's Picket Fence Studios release day and we have so many fun things to share with you! First off on my first two cards I used the amazing Paper Glaze and mixed colors together to make a new color. The background on the first card was made by wiping the excess glaze off the palette knife. I love how a piece of trash can become an underwater scene!
Paper Glaze - Ocean Poppy
Paper Glaze - Cornflower Blue
Paper Glaze - Succulent Green
Paper Glaze - Snowdrop White
Sentiment: Early Tulip Bouquet
Since this is Saturday, I am also hosting the Inspiration Challenge at SCS so I am also entering this card in the challenge.
Next up is another fun Mix with Paper Glaze but this time I used the mix with the Mermaid Scale Stencil. I started off with Marigold Orange for the lower portion, then I mixed Marigold Orange and Peony Pink. For the uppermost part of the stencil, I took my Marigold and Peony Mix and added Snowdrop White. Once it was dry I die cut it and then I cut part of it off for a pillow! I added Sleeping Baby and die cut her with the coordinating die. Lastly, I added a sentiment from Every Good and Perfect Gift.
I am celebrating Pauline, this week's Featured Stamper with this card!
For my last card, I created an alcohol background on Yupo paper. Then I die cut the Whale of a Tale cover die out of white cardstock. I pieced just the clouds, sun, and whale back into the die cut scene and added a sentiment from Early Tulip Bouquet.

Lovely projects. Love the drama in those waves and that little cutie tucked up.
ReplyDeleteAmazing cards, really love how the paper glaze looks. The baby card is so sweet. The alcohol ink background is cool too.

So much to love on your blog today! I love all of your use of technique and color - and the paper glaze looks very creative! I'm imagining it's like nuvo mousse? Awesome line up!
ReplyDeleteThese are such immensely lovely makes, Angela. Gorgeous hues across the board. They feel distinctly un-wintry to me and suit the returning sunny season to a tee.
