Hello! It's Old is New Day at Impression Obsession and it's also Watercolor Wednesday.
For the first card, I followed Lydia's Abstract No-Line Watercolor Video from this week's Watercolor Wednesday. I painted soft colors for the ground and sky. Next, I stamped Cottontail in Fade Out Ink. Lydia's tutorial calls for an abstract so I didn't paint back in eyes or nose. It was a fun practice that I will try again. Lastly, I stamped Happy Easter.
I just love the Silly Rabbit sentiment on the next card. This was going to be my sample for Watercolor Wednesday until I realized that the sentiment was too bold for an abstract scene. I wasn't going to let the opportunity to use this super fun sentiment pass me by so I stamped Mopsie in dark ink and watercolored colored her! As a kid, we used to say the "Silly Rabbit" quote all the time and change it for whatever circumstance applied. My kids look at me like I am daft when I use it now but I still like to say it! :)
Oh what gorgeous cards Angie - loving those rabbits, and that quote is so very true!!
