Hello! It's Picket Fence Studios Release March Release Day! There is soooo much to see this month! We have ocean-themed items, new slimline dies, flower images, and much more!
First, I am featuring the beautiful Lilies For Spring stamp and the Coordinating Die. I splattered a bit of Snowdrop White Paper Glaze (mixed with water) then I splattered Carnation Pink Paper Glaze (mixed with water). What I really like about using the splattered paper glaze versus paint is that it dries quickly and has a shimmer! Lastly, I added a sentiment from Fancy Congratulations Sentiments and cut it out with the Coordinating Die.
For this next card, I used the Slimline Die Cutting System to create a 3-circle window opening for the pretty dreamer! I inked the opening with LC Blender Brushes then splattered it with Golden Rose Paper Glaze (mixed with water). Next, I colored Kylee and cut her out with her Coordinating Die. I dressed her up with a hairpin made up of Shark Bite Sequins and gave her Oceans of Green Gem earrings! The images and sentiment in Kylee's dream are from Merpeople of the Sea and Mermaids of the Sea. I used the Mermaids of the Sea Coordinating Die for the mermaid and fish.
The next two cards feature a new product I can't wait to tell you about! The team is super excited about Paper Glaze Enhancer! It is a total game changer! Now you have the choice of using Paper Glaze as is with all the shine or you can add equal amounts of Paper Glaze Enhancer and mix it before spreading it across a stencil. The Enhancer gives a smooth finish to the paper glaze with a bit of shimmer. You won't see the lines of the scraper like you do with Paper Glaze, plus it can be heated just a bit for a little puff! It also keeps the Paper Glaze from getting underneath the stencil. I really love it!
For the background I mixed Jade Vine Paper Glaze with Paper Glaze Enhancer and spread it over the Slim Line Gradient Scales stencil. I used the new Slim Line Nested Rectangles Die System for the pretty stitched layering and the sentiment. Next, I die cut from Mermaid of the Sea and Merpeople of the Sea. Lastly, I sprinkled the scene with Shark Bite Sequins.
I think mailboxes are such a fun image to color and the new Mail's Here (& Coordinating Die) is no exception! When I saw the mailbox image, it reminded me of Peach and Piper Checking the Mail so I added the darling deer mail-carrier in the lower corner (Coordinating Die Used). Once again, I used the amazing Paper Glaze Enhancer, and this time I mixed it with Mint Hydrangea Paper Glaze. The stencil is the Slim Line Center Flower that I die cut with the dies from both the Slimline Die Cutting System and the Slim Line Nested Rectangles Die System. I added the fabulous Hello that was e especially made larger for slimline cards and lastly, a sprinkling of Aqua Seas Sequins. So fun for Spring!
I am celebrating this week's Featured Stamper at SCS with this card.

These cards are absolutely gorgeous, Angie. I especially like the "I dream in saltwater" one. The pool of serene water behind the lovely lady's head is such a creative, awesome idea.

These are all awesome my friend. You're definitely adding to my wish list.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to be late to the party - saw the email about your post but never quite made it across. Loving your cards - the details are beautiful - the hair slide and earrings - the splatters and the sequins. Your flowers are gorgeous and I love your dreaming lady. The last card is so cute too - not that we see many mailboxes like that here - most people have letterbox slots in their door for the post.
