I made a slimline card with Impression Obsession's Slim Scene Grass Border. I will admit I got a bit carried away with my distress ink! I stamped Distress Ink on plastic stamp packaging and spritzed it with water. Using plastic helps direct the ink easier than dragging cardstock through watery ink on a kraft mat but even so I ended up with green a bit further up than I planned. I hated to toss the card so I just kept going. I used the same technique for the sky with a little better control. I stamped the Scene Birds multiple times and added the Winds of Change Sentiment.

So lovely + peaceful. Had you not said anything, I would simply have though you were aiming to have the taller portions of green ink resemble a treeline in the background. Either way, it's a beautiful design and one that feels like a perfect summer day capture in card form.
