Happy Easter with an Ear-Resistible Bunny Handmade Card
Hello friends! Today I’m sharing a cheerful handmade Easter card featuring the adorable Ear-Resistible Bunny from SweetMissDaisy Designs. This sweet scene came together as I played along with two fun challenges, and it truly captures the joy and color of the season.
I started by creating a soft, spring-inspired background using patterned paper from the Peas & Carrots paper pack. The gentle color set the perfect stage for a playful Easter scene. Next, I die-cut a stitched layer and added a vertical border using the coordinating stamp from the Ear-Resistible set in a warm orange tone to bring in a bit of structure and movement.
The star of the card is, of course, that darling bunny! I stamped and carefully colored him, keeping the palette soft and cohesive with the background. To build the scene, I stamped three Easter baskets, colored them, and fussy cut each one. I arranged them at the bunny’s feet, popping one up with dimension to add depth and a little extra visual interest.
For a finishing touch, I tucked a bit of gold thread behind the “Happy Easter” sentiment to add just a hint of sparkle and texture—such a simple detail, but it really elevates the design.
I hope this sweet bunny card inspires you to create something special this Easter!
