There's something extra fun about a card that makes you smile before you even read the sentiment—and today’s handmade hog card definitely does that!
It’s release day for the Pajama Crafter Stamps Pop of Color Collection, and I couldn’t resist going bold and playful with my design. My “pop of color”? A big, cheerful pink hog stealing the spotlight in the best way possible.
This card started with a lively foundation using confetti patterned paper from the Birthday Bash paper pack by Pajama Crafter Stamps. The colorful background instantly sets a celebratory tone and creates the perfect stage for a focal image with personality.
To ground the design, I added a stitched layer and stamped the hog from Hog Your Shine toward the bottom of the panel, intentionally leaving space for the oversized sentiment: Don’t Let Anyone Hog Your Shine. It’s such a fun, lighthearted message—and honestly, one we all need to hear now and then.
Coloring the hog was where the magic really started to happen. I went with a bright, happy pink and kept thinking… how can I make this little pig truly shine?
The answer? Bows with bling!
