Hello!  Welcome to Die-cut Day at Impression Obsession!  Ice cream is a passion of mine!  I love ice cream but not just any ice cream.  It can't be the cheap stuff puffed with air and fake cream. Bleck!  No, only the most expensive stuff appeals to me!  We have a local shop called Rock Salt Milk Bar and oh my, is that the most delicious!  Ok, I am going to stop talking about ice cream now, I am making myself really hungry!  Here's what I used for this dreamy treat:

Here is my Bonus card this week.  This is for Watercolor Wednesday and a Dare to Get Dirty Challenge at SCS.  I did not like my attempts at following the tutorial this week.  Only this flower turned out so I cropped it and used the Postage Cuts Die to frame it.  A little gold thread for embellishment and done.

Wildly Capable

Hello!  It's Dare to Get Dirty week at Splitcoaststampers!  DTGD is a fun week full of challenges and prizes.  I have played along every year for... ha, I was thinking it's been a decade but I checked my SCS gallery and discovered that this is my 9th year!  This is a bit of a weird year for me as I have had to sit out as a hostess this time. I was hoping to have this ready as a sample for Janine but too many things crowded my schedule so I am getting a slow start but I hope to play in a few more DTGD Challenges before the week is out. As always the details of the DTGD challenges are secret but I can tell you who I created this for and what I used!

This is going to go to my daughter.  She is about to head to her Jr year of college and she had a bit of a rough day yesterday.  She received some news that was disappointing, a relationship struggle, and the anxiety of packing and moving coming up this weekend.  All rolled into one the events had this usually unflappable girl in tears. I used the new Zebra from IO and I added the Wildly Capable sentiment on the inside.  The inside says: Never Forget How Wildly Capable You Are!  

Also, the current SALE category is Women!  There are even two clear sets marked down even further and they are really sweet sets!

Hello!  Happy weekend to you!  I hope you are enjoying this summer Sunday!  

I am celebrating this week's Featured Stamper at Splitcoaststampers.  I always enjoy this challenge because we get to shower a fellow stamper with happy comments and CASEd cards.  This week we are celebrating paseely!  You can find my card in my SCS gallery with links to her fabulous gallery.  

For my card, I created a Wrinkle Free Distressed background then added the Lavender Frame Cover Plate.  This is such a beautiful cover plate and it includes three stand-alone dies!  Next, I added the beautiful sentiment from Wild Peonies. 

To finish of the card, I added gems from the Purple Side of the Rainbow Mix. 

The cover - plate makes it easy to create a quick yet elegant card.

Hello!  I am hosting this week's Free 4 All challenge and our team came up with "outside" as our theme.  Everyone is welcome to play along.  We would love for you to join us!  

I made a slimline card with Impression Obsession's Slim Scene Grass Border.  I will admit I got a bit carried away with my distress ink!  I stamped Distress Ink on plastic stamp packaging and spritzed it with water.  Using plastic helps direct the ink easier than dragging cardstock through watery ink on a kraft mat but even so I ended up with green a bit further up than I planned.  I hated to toss the card so I just kept going.  I used the same technique for the sky with a little better control.  I stamped the Scene Birds multiple times and added the Winds of Change Sentiment.

Hello! Today, I have a fun card to share and a bonus watercolor card.  First up is this whimsical veggie card.  I am playing along with the Teapot Challenge - back to school.  I have a teacher that is near and dear to me. I think she is going to get a laugh out of these veggies.  My sis went to college in her 50's and graduated Summa Cum Laud with a previous education of only 5th grade!  I am so proud of her.  This is her first year as a teacher.  I can't imagine being able to maintain focus in 2020 to graduate let alone begin teaching in 2021 with all the craziness that is still in the air.  Literally.  I know she has been putting in 13 hour days so I am really rooting for her!  

I am also playing along with Art Nudge# 70.

Today I am sharing a fun Die-Cut card, a jungle-themed card, and a Christmas card. This is just a little example of the amazing variety the Impression Obsession Releases have to offer!  The best part is everything is available now, simply click HERE!

Who doesn't love coffee, tea, or cocoa?  This Big Mug can be used for any beverage and can be decorated any way you like! The Crafty Mug Sayings is a fun set that can be added to these cups or used on its own.  I added a little doily or placemat for my coffee with the Loopy Tag.  The background and the cup were created by dipping cardstock into wet distress ink.  

Next, I am switching gears to a fun jungle-themed card!  There are so many sweet images new this month it was hard to decide what to share!  In the end, I went with this cute Giraffe, the Wild About You sentiment, and the Retro Circle background stamp.

Christmas cards are my absolute favorite to create so I couldn't end the Hop without showing one more.  This is Dina's little Snowy Studio!  Isn't it cool that she made her studio into a stamp? The sentiment is Cozy Wishes.
