PPRS Monday Inspiration and CAS310

Happy Monday!

Ready or not it's February, the month of love!  It's my turn to play hostess at the SCS CAS challenge and since my February calender is full of  anniversary dates I decided that this week's challenge should be all about love, anniversary or weddings.   I combined my love for PPRS dies/stamps and my CAS challenge for today's PPRS Monday Inspiration and came up with this!

I used my favorite coloring technique on the heart: Stamped distress ink on foil, spritzed with water and swished the paper through the ink.  Once dried I die cut the heart from PPRS-D016 Heart Key Crown.   I added two flourishes using  PPRS-D045Flourish Die.  PPRS-D006 Birdcage Die Set has the sweetest little bird so I added a bird to perch on the heart and used the second half of the sentiment "I love you always and forever" from CLR047 Mini Vases Clear Set.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Don't forget to stop by PPRS blog to see all the goodies my teammates have designed for your inspiration!

  1. Angie,
This is really pretty and despite CAS it has lovely elements and texture. I might have to play along. Our FOSTV challenge is also romance - it must be in the air!

  2. What a beautiful CAS card Angie. Love the embossing and love the flourish.

  3. So delicate and pretty! I love how the heart is colored and how it came out.

  4. Love your swish coloured heart, Angie!!!! The little bird is so cute and those flourishes are beautiful!!! Love the embossed bg, too!!
    Have a great day!!!

  5. Oh, Angie, what beautiful, soft colors! And the new dies are gorgeous! Great technique for the heart! And I really love that embossing folder...what is it? Stunning card, sweet friend!
