I Only Thought I liked Pink!

Welcome to the first Impression Obsession Challenge of 2019!

New Beginnings

For my New Beginnings card, I used the Cardinals by the Window stamp and paired it with one of the sentiments from Card Sentiments.  First I just love this scene! I think it's gorgeous.  It reminds this southern transplant of magical childhood winters! This picture of an icy morning with the bright pop of red Cardinals makes me think that while winter might be upon us Spring and new beginnings are around the corner! Tomorrow is another day and the sun might come out and dry out the frozen or in our case soggy earth!

The image is so striking in black and white that I decided no coloring other than the Cardinals was needed.  I only thought I liked pink; black, red and white seem to be my signature color combo these days!

Now it's your turn! Head on over to the Impression Obsession Blog to see all the challenge samples from the design team and details on entering the challenge. You can enter to win a $25 gift certificate from IO by linking up your New Beginnings card.   The winning project will be chosen at random and will be showcased on the IO blog!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Now here's a look at the full stamps sets featured today:
