The love of creating knows no season as is evidenced by the cards I am sharing today! First up is a comfort card since there seem to be a lot of people sick and in need of rest right now. I used a background I created with Lydia's cool Oxidized Shaving Cream technique and the Many More stamp set by The Project Bin.
I discovered that the bubbles were not as visible when using light colored reinkers which is all I have. If you haven't already, you must check out Lydia's fabulous mermaid card! I had a wonderful time about a dozen backgrounds. This was the second pull which gave me some bubbles but not quite as much as my first pull.
So as I mentioned earlier creativity knows no seasons so even though Christmas is behind us it's never too early to start on next year's Christmas cards and SCS has a challenge for that! On the first day of every month, there is a new Christmas Challenge for Fan Club Members. This is what I created with the North Pole set by The Project Bin. For both cards, I also used Wonky Stitched Rectangle Stax, my new gift from my friend Janeen!
Love both your cards. The colours on your rest and recover are vibrant but soothing and I like your new stitched dies you have used on number 2. Happy New Year and look after yourself in 2019.
ReplyDeleteI love the fresh green look of your oxide card. It would cheer any one up. Eeps...the wonky dies, aren't they so fun ?
ReplyDeleteThese are both stunning Angela!! I love the bubbly background....hmm...must be checking that out for sure! :) Your North Pole design is gorgeous too!! Love the large snowflakes and wonderful layout!! Best wishes to you for a very happy and healthy New Year in 2019 my friend! HUGS
