Feel Better

It's Friday, yay!

It's my turn on the Picket Fence Studios blog today and I am pairing this fun jumbo coffee mug die with this heart stamp which overflows with mini hearts! First, I die cut the mug then I heat embossed the little hearts.  Next, I watercolored the cup.  The heat embossing acts as a resist so the little hearts show through the watercolor.  I love this technique.
Next, I created a place for the mug to sit by rubbing white gelato on the lower portion of the card.  After that, I  used a resist spray and sprinkled white embossing powder over it.  Since the resist spray is a fast-drying medium, I quickly used the heat tool to activate the embossing powder. Oh, the lovely texture!  All that remained was to add a sentiment so I chose one from this get well set.

I am also playing along with Julie's DTGD Challenge at SCS.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

We are feeling the blues this week at the F4ALL Challenge.  We can make mostly blue cards, make a music card, or make an encouragement card ...
