It's my turn to host the Inspiration Challenge and since I pick out my sites months in advance I actually colored this before the global pandemic. I had no idea the emotions that the Hats Off image would evoke. I get a little choked up thinking about all the photos that weren't taken of hats flying in the air and all the hugs that weren't exchanged. There is just something about hundreds of students all in one place reveling in a moment of freedom and joy at accomplishing a milestone. I didn't know it when I stamped the Tassel Hassel sentiment but it's even truer today as students were suddenly forced home and online. What a hassle! To all the students and their families, Congratulations! It was worth it!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Hugs!
What a lovely card, love that sentiment. I can relate to this card, as I am one of those students graduating this year.
ReplyDeleteLove the card, but don't love the missed experience. Hope it is a good weekend none the less x
ReplyDeleteJust as well we don't know the future at times Angie, and this is a wonderful 'make' despite the current circumstances!
ReplyDeleteStay safe

Awesome card! I can't imagine there are - or have ever been - many grads for whom this sentiment didn't ring true when all was said and done with their schooling.
