Impression Obsession Challenge - On the Farm

The new IO Challenge is up and we are traveling to the farm!

I started off by creating a background using bleach crystals and Distress Oxide ink for this week's Ways to Use It Challenge at SCS.   It was fascinating to see how the ink changed colors!  Next, I die cut the new Tag with Capped top. The capped top is so fun but then I realized I really wanted the "cap" to match the background but I didn't feel like making another bleach background so I die cut a piece out of the middle of the bleached cardstock! Sneaky right?  Bonus Tip: I die cut a second cap out of scrap cardstock and glued it back in to make sure that there would not be any impression seeping through the tag.  Isn't that a fun little trick?    Secondly, I stamped and colored Ginny. I added Wink of Stell all over Ginny but sadly, she doesn't sparkle in this photo.  For the background, I grabbed a die-cut piece of Chicken Wire and used it as a stencil to brush on a light background.  Lastly, I added the Glitter Glue sentiment.  This sentiment cracks me up and I thought you might need a smile today, I know I do!

Now head on over to the Impression Obsession Blog to see all the cute Farm cards that the Design Team has created!  You can also play along with us so while you are there check out the details for a chance to win a gift certificate to the store!

We are feeling the blues this week at the F4ALL Challenge.  We can make mostly blue cards, make a music card, or make an encouragement card ...
