A Forest Critter Hi!

Hello! I am up on the My Sweet Petunia Blog today!  I love creating scenes with cute die-cuts but I don't enjoy cranking out all the pieces I need.  It can take quite a bit of time to make sure the images are die-cut perfectly and I am always impatient to get to the creative part!  Check out the My Sweet Petunia Blog for the step-by-step instructions on making die-cut scenes easy!

I die-cut the Picket Fence Studios Tree from Bristol paper then I sprinkled Dark Brown Brushos on the tree trunk and a bit on the branches.  Then I activated the powder with water.  Next, I stamped Sweet Petunia Pink ink on my craft mat and spritzed it with water. I tapped the leaves of the tree through the bright pink ink and I did the same with Mustard Seed Yellow ink, more pink ink, and even tapped some of the brown Brushos on the leaves until I was happy with the color.  The background sky was blended with Life-Changing Blender Brushes.  The critters came from the Forest Critters Stopping by to Say Hi set and the Coordinating Die Set.  Also, the gorgeous Tree is greatly reduced right now so it's a great time to snap it up!

I used both the MISTI, the Mini MISTI, and the Cut-Align ruler for today's
 project.

I am also playing along with Sharon's Dare to Get Dirty Challenge.  I am also playing along with today's Ways To Use It Challenge to use something from your home as inspiration.  This painting was done by my daughter and hangs in my art room!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
