Warm Flower Garden Palette – SweetMissDaisy Designs April Release
Hello and welcome to the SweetMissDaisy Designs April Release! This month is overflowing with beautiful florals, charming seed packets, and even a snowman tucked into the mix—such a fun and whimsical collection.
Today I’m sharing a trio of cards inspired by summer’s golden rays and a warm flower garden palette filled with ochre, white, purple, blue, and green.
🌼 Card One – Golden Daisy Bouquet
To begin, I’m featuring the stunning Daisy Bouquet stamp set. I paired it with a piece of the gorgeous Daisies patterned paper for the background, which instantly sets that soft summer tone.
I cut out a stitched layer to show off the bouquet, and then I added a cute little bee to give it some life and movement. To keep the design clean and balanced, the sentiment is stamped right onto the panel.
To finish, I scattered a few golden gems around the image and sentiment—just enough sparkle to catch the light without overwhelming the softness of the card.
🌞 Card Two – Sunshine Postage Collage
This next card is a golden ray of sunshine and one of my favorites from today’s projects.
One of the things I love most about SweetMissDaisy Designs is how beautifully the sets mix and match. For this card, I combined elements from multiple sets to create a layered postage collage look.
I used the Sow With Love set for the 5¢ image and paired it with a bee from the Jar and Flowers set, placing them on a square postage-style die-cut. I added cancellation marks for that authentic postal feel and layered in stamped text from Penelope’s Garden, tearing the edges and distressing them with tea dye ink for a vintage touch.
The background and tag come from the Daisies paper pack, and I tucked a delicate paper doily behind the tag for added softness. A few strips of coordinating washi tape bring in extra color and texture behind the sentiment, “You Brighten My Day.”
To finish the tag, I added a beautiful sunflower image from the Jar and Flowers stamp set, tying everything together in those rich golden yellows and soft teal tones.
🌸 Card Three – Seed Packet Garden Collage
For my final card, I leaned fully into the collage style using the Sow With Love seed packet set.
The background again features the Daisies paper, layered with two pieces of lace—one at the top and one near the bottom—for a soft, vintage feel.
I stamped and customized two seed packets with flowers, postage elements, and decorative details. This set is incredibly fun because there are so many ways to personalize each packet.
To finish, I added a small “Happy Birthday” tag and a metal heart embellishment for a sweet, heartfelt touch.
These designs are inspired by beautiful color challenges and art prompts, but they can easily be adapted using your own favorite supplies and techniques.
