The new stamps are available now! You can find them all HERE

I had a ball with the Coffee Buddies image.  After I colored it, I cut slits around the flowered table cloth so it would hang over the Large Frame.  I was delighted that there was just enough room left for Hello Friend!

Keeping with the friendship theme I am featuring Goofy Friends.  This made me think so much of my sister and me!  Growing up I was a little taller than her because I was older and she was always a little sillier than me.  She still loves to laugh and is a joy to be around, although, I would not call her silly!  The girls have mismatched socks because my daughter loves to wear mismatched socks!  Growing up, I don't know that my mom would have allowed it but I was a little too uptight for mismatched socks anyway so the socks are a nod to my girl!  :)  The sentiment is You've Got a Friend.  The background is a border I cut using the Spirals background stamp and then for fun, I added a Speech Border

The July Release has everything from sweet and cute to slimline landscape scenes and everything is available now, simply click HERE.

Turner Syndrome Foundation Card Auction

**Affiliate links used when possible with no added cost to you**

Hello!

I am thrilled to share this post with you today as I have been asked to contribute to a card auction for the Turner Syndrome Foundation!  I have just browsed the auction and the cards are amazing! I feel honored to be in the company of such great cardmakers!

So here is how the auction works: Head on over to Lori Kobular's IG account (@mulchlady6) and scroll through the amazing cards.  (I am near the lower end and on the right column if you would like to place a bid on my card!  But you might find one you like even more so bid where your heart leads you!  :)  So after bidding on the card the highest bidder will donate the amount they bid to the Turner Syndrome Foundation and the artist will mail the card to them.  I look forward to seeing who will end up with my card and escape to a quiet moment that speaks to the soul!

To create my scene I first watercolored the background.  Then with the MISTI, I stamped the silhouettes several times!  It's not easy stamping on watercolor paper so I was thrilled to have a MISTI!

Multiples with the MISTI

**Affiliate Links used when possible at no cost to you!**

Hello! Today I am over at the MSP Blog featuring cards made with previously created re-inker backgrounds.  I am also playing along with this week's Ways To Use It Challenge at SCS.

First, I like to adhere the background to the base of the card.  The Cut-Align rulers make alignment a breeze.  I line up a horizontal line on the ruler with the base of the card, making certain that the 0 on the ruler is at the center of the base card.  For this card, the base is 2 1/8 from 0 center.  It's easy to adhere the next layer to the base perfectly centered.

I stamped the balloon from IO's Celebrate Everything several times on the inky watercolor paper.  A MISTI is a must because it took about 5 times of stamping to get total coverage on the rough paper.  For the stamping of the balloon, I used my MINI MISTI, and then for the balloon string, I used the New Original MISTI.  In that way, I had a bit of an assembly line going.  Lastly, I stamped the sentiment, Just For You

Thanks for looking and happy stamping!

**Affiliate Links used when possible which means I make a little commission when you buy something with my link at NO extra cost to you!  TY!**

Hello!
It's Die-Cut Day at Impression Obsession today!  I always love creating scenes with Die-cuts and today is no exception.  I couldn't wait to play with the cute little bunnies.  They are not just for Easter! The sentiment is part of the fun Party Animal set.  If you have animal stamps or dies you won't want to miss this set.  There are 16 sentiments, 13 of which can be used for a specific critter!    Here is what I used for this fun scene.

Next up is the super fun Party Hat!  I love how easy it is to create a one-of-a-kind birthday card with this large Party Hat die and Birthday Words!

Head on over to the Impression Obsession Blog to see all the fun creations the designers have dreamed up for you this month!  Click HERE to check out all the fun new IO stamps and dies!

Watercolor Wednesday - Seas the Day

Hello!  It's Wednesday and that means it's time to watercolor at Splitcoaststampers!  This week our guest is Linda and she has chosen a fun octopus tutorial.  First, I drew an octopus and I was surprised that he turned out so well.  But for some reason, the idea of just tentacles wouldn't let me go so I ended up trying a couple of just tentacle paintings.    I really probably should have given this another try but I am just a little tired today so this 2nd attempt will have to do!

The sentiment is from the Vortex of Fish stamp.  It's a wonderful 6x6 stamp set and it's greatly reduced right now!  Stop by the Picket Fence Studios store for all things fish and MUCH more!

Colorful Weather

This week for the F4ALL Challenge at SCS we are creating colorful weather!  Our friend Janine suggested this challenge as a tribute to the debut of Prince's Purple Rain album!  I am hoping to see some purple rain, pink clouds, or green skies in the SCS gallery this week but for my first card, I went simple, with a watery blue sky.

I heat embossed the Stars then used watery distress ink on clear packaging and pressed it onto cardstock for the sky.  I tucked the llama from Celebrate Everything into the Cloud border and added the sentiment, Catch A Star.

I just couldn't resist playing with my Sweet Petunia Pink ink again for this Colorful Weather Challenge!  If you missed my post debuting this new shade of ink you can find it HERE.

This stamp set is Beach Scene and the sentiment is Amazed.

My Sweet Petunia and Ink on 3 Collaboration & Giveaway!

Today, we’re having an Ink on 3 and My Sweet Petunia collaboration! We are featuring the new collaboration stamp set & coordinating stencils along with, of course, the MISTI!🎉

GIVEAWAY🎉

The Giveaway Hop is on Instagram so join us HERE and you can hop along with us for your chance to win a $25 card from either Ink on 3 or My Sweet Petunia. The hop will end June 30, 2021, and the winners will be announced the week of July 5-9.

First, I used the My Sweet Petunia 3 Layer Stencils with the brand new Sweet Petunia Pink Atelier Ink!  The ink blends beautifully, and I love how it reacts to water.  I have a close-up of the petals below!   I used my Mini MISTI to stamp the My Sweet Petunia Stamp Set sentiment, and then heat embossed.

I just love how the splatter looks like water drops on the petals!

With the MISTI, I stamped the petunias from the My Sweet Petunia set in FadeOut Ink for this next card.   I stamped the ink pad on an acrylic block and spritzed it with water to create my coloring medium then I watercolored the image.   I like to leave my image stamps in the regular MISTI while I am creating in case I need to start over, then I use my Mini MISTI to stamp the sentiments.  A MISTI is a must-have for me when I stamp on watercolor paper!

Thanks so much for stopping by and be sure to head to my INSTAGRAM account to join the HOP for a chance to win!
