Speedy Fox & Friends Challenge - Vintage

Happy Saturday!  We have another fun challenge at Speedy Fox & Friends!  The challenge this week is to make a "vintage" card. I am sneak peeking the set "I'm in Stitches" that will be released later this week at Mark's Finest Papers a Heinrich Co.  I had a lot of fun with this one.  I took out a die set that I bought awhile back but hadn't used yet.  It's perfect for a card for my MIL. My MIL makes the most beautiful quilts.  We have been blessed to be recipients of several!!!  She is recovering  from foot surgery so I hope this puts a smile on her face!

I hope to see your beautiful vintage work Here at Speedy Fox & Friends

I played with heat embossing again this week.  I think it gives a nice shiny look to the sewing machine(although in this picture you can't see it shine).  I sponged a bit of  Tim Holtz Vintage Photo onto the white spaces on the machine to give it the "vintage" look.

Here is a close up of my sewing machine.  I poked some holes and "threaded" the sewing machine!

Here is the inside of the card:  My DH gave me the idea to add pins to the pin cushion!!!

  1. Angie--this card is so cute! I love the added pins to the inside of the card in the pincushion! I drew pins in on my pincushion for the blog hop next week. I guess great minds think alike! LOL Great job. TFS
