Older Ribbon Still Looks Like New

Happy Wednesday!  It's time for a new Old is New Day at Impression Obsession!  I felt a bit nostalgic as I reached for this Curly Ribbon as it was one of the first stamps I used as a new IO Design Team member.  I love it now as much as I did the first time I used it!  I added the birthday sentiment from Skinny Words and I went over the top with some bold buttons!

Check the Impression Obsession Blog for a look at the fresh designs the team has come up with featuring older stamps!

Today's design was influenced by Art Nudge #40.  I changed the snowflake cup to curly ribbon but the ribbon makes me think of snowflakes!

It's my turn to host the Watercolor Wednesday Challenge and I chose a beautiful tutorial recently uploaded to Splitcoaststampers by Sandi MacIver! I thought it might be fun to use curly ribbon instead of a snowflake and make a much needed birthday card. Unlike Sandi's beautiful samples, I used just one color of powder for my card. This technique is a really fun way to use watercolor powders! I would love it if you would join us HERE for the challenge!

Thanks for stopping by!

And Snow it Goes with Hearts

We are feeling the blues this week at the F4ALL Challenge.  We can make mostly blue cards, make a music card, or make an encouragement card ...
