Hi! It's Impression Obsession Team Favorites

Hello! It's time for Team Favorites at Impression Obsession. With so many beautiful products in the monthly release, choosing just one favorite can be difficult. However, I finally settled on a card that I really enjoyed making. The Borderlines and Borders & Bits Series 2 sets enabled me to experiment with different techniques for various projects. I went with simple coloring on this project. I utilized the Capital Alphabet die set to create the word "HI," which I placed on a banner from the Rounded Corner Stitched Square set. Additionally, the focal point flower was stamped on a square layer from the same Rounded Corner Stitched Square set. 

Another favorite card features the Cobblestone Stencil and sweet tulips from the Alphabet Sayings Easter set. I used the Capital Alphabet Die Set to write out "spring" and completed the sentiment with a word from the Alphabet Sayings Easter set. I die-cut a square focal point with the Inside Out Rounded Square to create added flair.

Some Bunny Loves You - IO Theme Day

  Hello! This week at Impression Obsession, the theme is bunnies. I created a scene using the Alpha Sayings Easter set, featuring an adorable bunny surrounded by some pretty green grass made with the Edgers stencil. The scene was completed with a little dragonfly and placed on a Stitched Square. The butterfly background paper is from Vintage Garden. 

I created another scene with the super sweet set, Some Bunny, and the coordinating Some Bunny Dies. The scene features a bunny and a pretty landscape created with the Edgers stencil. The background paper is once again from the Vintage Garden paper pack. I used a Rounded Rectangle 1 Layer as the stage for this small, spring scene.

Spring is in the Air - Day 3 of the IO February Release

Day three of the February release finds spring in the air! I hope you are enjoying all the projects the team has made this month! 

For day three I created one of my favorites!  I used the Cobblestone Stencil in the background.  The layer was cut with the new Stitched Squares die set. It's a very pretty die set that includes a smaller square and a pretty little banner.  The Some Bunny stamp set includes several adorable bunnies, great sentiments, and butterflies! I also used the Some Bunny Die Set.  

I used the Chicken image from First Blooms and paired it with the Chicken Wire paper to create this card. I stamped the image on a Rounded Rectangle Layer 2. After that, I included a Stitched Slimline Layer made out of Quilted Grunge paper. Lastly, I fussy cut the sentiment from Thought Bubbles.

Spring Flowers and Not a Cupcake - IO February Release Day 2

Hello, and welcome to day two of the Impression Obsession Release Hop for February!

The lovely Stitched Flowers Die set and other brand-new items are used in all of today's projects!  Everything new is available Here! 

First up today is the adorable Hello Spring Bunnies stamp set. I think these bunnies are adorable.  I also used the Hello Spring Bunnies Die set.  The background paper is Vintage Gardens.  Also, I used the Inside Out Rounded Square and the Rounded Corner Stitched Square. 

 

I made a flower arrangement with the Stitched Flowers on this next card. The Quilted Grunge paper pack adds a punch to all backgrounds and layers!  I made a little vase from the Inside Out Arch then added a sentiment from the Hello Spring Bunnies stamp set.   

For this card, the Stitched Flowers are a little accent for the humorous image and sentiment from the Snark-asm stamp set. I also used a Rounded Rectangle 2 layer, Stitched Square Frame, and Prairie Paper.

Easter, Flowers, and Hello - IO February Release!

Hello and welcome to the February Impression Obsession Release!  

This month's Release includes bunnies, flowers, layering dies, and much more! You can find everything new, HERE.

So let's get started!

The gorgeous new Vintage Garden Blooms set includes several images to inspire countless creative projects. Since the pitcher is such a lovely size, I used only the Vintage Garden Blooms stamp set and a Rounded Rectangle Layer to create this friendship card.

Next up, getting a head start on Easter cardmaking. I combined the Capital Alpha Dies with the new Alpha Sayings Easter stamp set for an extra pop to the sentiment. I stenciled grass for the sweet bunny with the new Edgers Stencil set. Additionally, I used new Chicken Wire Paper, Crazy Stitched Set, and Rounded Corner Sentiments 2.

Finally, I had a great time with Lindsey's new Borders & Bits Series 2 set. Firstly, I created a background on the cardstock by dragging an ink pad over it. Next, I had fun making a scene with elements from the stamp set.  There are so many ways to be creative with this fantastic set!  Lastly, I added the hello sentiment from the little set, Colorful Sayings.

Background Hope - IO February Product Focus

Hello! This month's IO Product Focus is Background Stamps.  

For my background project, I used the beautiful Flower Pattern Background stamp. The intricate details of the flowers and leaves added a touch of elegance to the card. To make my favorite word stand out, I used the new Ovals Stencil. The stencil added a subtle outline, making the word pop against the floral background. Finally, I made the word HOPE with the Capital Alphabet die-cut letters. The bold, uppercase letters provide a striking contrast to the delicate background.
