Dare to Get Dirty - Fall Day

It's Day Two of Day to Get Dirty and as it happens I made Fall cards for two of the challenges.  It's funny to me that this is the first year that I really love creating Fall cards.  I really never liked the color combo all that much but this year I am all about Fall!  :)  Neither challenge is a "Fall" Challenge, the details are kept secret for Fan Club Members so I am not letting anything out of the bag.  If you are not a Fan Club Member it's super easy to join.  Details can be found HERE.

First off is a card for Ann's Dare To Get Dirty Challenge, featuring all Picket Fence Studios products. First, I used a palette knife and smoothed Golden Rose Paper Glaze over the paper.  Once dried, I die cut the branch. For the shadow branch, I die cut a negative from the white base scene.  Next, I stamped the pumpkin from A World of Octobers and colored it in with black marker to create a silhouette.  I added the crow from Witch Please and the sentiment.  I just couldn't pull out that stamp set without adding two fairy frogs!    Lastly, I added Purple People Eater Sequins!

Next up I played in Mary's Dare to Get Dirty Challenge with the beautiful Impression Obsessions Tree Banner stamp and a sentiment from Card Sentiments.  There are 10 wonderful sentiments in that set which makes it one of my favorite "go-to" sentiment sets!
I added a clip and Baker's twine but otherwise kept the card CAS!

I am also celebrating Angela Maine as this week's Featured Stamper.  She is incredibly talented and it's always a treat to view one of her exquisitely fashioned cards!

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I would love to see you at the challenges!

I just want to say thank you for stopping by even when there isn't a GIVEAWAY!  I appreciate your comments so much!  So I have decided to do a Giveaway!  I have a small collection of never used and gently used stamps and stencils.  I am going to split up the items and draw two winners!  All you have to do is comment on my Dare to Get Dirty Posts!  I started posting on August 22nd and the last day will be the 28th.  Leave a comment on any or all of the posts by August 31st.  The more days you comment the more chances to win!  I will post the winners on Saturday, Sept 5th so make sure to stop back by so I can get your info!

  2. I was wondering how you made that die cut branch card. Now I know! May have to try this technique sometime. Your fall trees is the perfect CAS card.
