Today I am featuring another fabulous stamp set from the Picket Fence Studios September release.
I thought I had this card pretty much done until I saw today's CAS499 challenge at Splitcoaststampers to Frame It. For the snowy hills, I used one of the smallest brushes from the "Life Changing" Blender Brush set and brushed upwards from a mask. I stamped, colored then masked one of the adorable flying reindeer from the Santa's Sleigh Ride stamp set by Picket Fence Studios. Next, I randomly stamped the smallest snowflake in the set and heat embossed. With the largest blending brush in the brush set, I created a luscious pink sky with Abandoned Coral Distress Ink. The sentiments included in Santa's Sleigh Ride all make me smile but I think this one is a great reminder of how we want to be as we approach the busy holidays! A frame finishes off the card.
I decided to create a bit of envelope art using another reindeer in the set and the small snowflake.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
I plan on avoiding the crowds/traffic as much as possible... nothing puts me in grinch mode faster than extra people to deal with & long lines at the register!
ReplyDeleteSweet card, again in pink and love the decorated envelope. Not sure about the Grinch - not seen that movie!
ReplyDeletehow adorable is this reindeer that quickly brought a smile to my face with his Zen look. Frames are so fun and i forget to use them. i will move through the holidays with grace.

The reindeer image is an total delight and I love the pink background, stenciled hills and how you framed the scene. Plus, that sentiment is absolutely the best! So cute!
ReplyDeleteHow adorable is this reindeer !! He’s spreading joy for sure !! I really love your soft pink background. About your question, I usually manage not to be a grinch by thinking that you sadly never know which Holiday will be the last one you're spending with your loved ones. So, it doesn’t left place to be grinch !! 😂 You should excuse my English... Thanks for sharing your work and for your generosity. Love, Marjorie
